Themes of chivalry, love, and Scottish landscape unfold,
A musical tribute to adventure and historical romance.
No words are sung, only the orchestra speaks,
Through strings, woodwinds, brass, and timpani.
A concert piece, setting the stage for epic tales,
Conducted masterfully by Boult for all to hear.
