The stars above my only guide,
With silent footsteps by my side.
No company but my own mind,
The memories I leave behind.
A solitary path I tread,
Where only dreams and fears are fed.
The wind it whispers through the trees,
A lonely, melancholy breeze.
It carries echoes of a song,
To where I know I don't belong.
I walk the earth, a fleeting guest,
In search of momentary rest.
But onward still my journey lies,
Beneath the vast and endless skies.
A traveller with no certain home,
Wherever fate may bid me roam.
This solitary way is mine,
A thread in fate's design.
